We believe that OCU University is a perfect fit for Home Stars because of our small classes and the one-on-one attention you receive from your professors.
HOME STARS ADMISSION PROCESS
We accept our online application or the Common Application.
- Use the essay as your opportunity to tell us more about yourself. Suggested essay topics are available, but please feel free to write about anything you believe will help our admissions committee determine your admittance OCU University.
Submit an official copy of your transcript from your secondary coursework, including any dual or concurrent credit accrued.
- We accept electronic transcripts sent via XAP or Parchment.
- We accept transcripts via mail.

If you are unable to provide a class rank or a test score, you will be reviewed through our test optional pathway, a holistic review process which evaluates students on their admission application, high school GPA, class rigor, involvement, service and leadership, counselor recommendation letter, and additional letter of recommendation. You will need to ensure you answer all questions on your application—even those that are optional, submit a secondary letter of recommendation, and submit your resume that includes your activities, service and leadership.

FAQ
Whomever your primary inductor is. That can be a parent, professor, or high school counselor.
We are looking for basic transcripts. Please include the name of the courses taken and letter grade. Please distinguish if any courses were honors, AP, or concurrent.
You need your high school counselor recommendation form. We do encourage homeschool students to submit an extra letter of recommendation from someone that can attest to their academic ability. It is not necessary for your application to be completed.
A 22 on the ACT/1100 on the SAT and a 3.0 weighted or unweighted high school GPA qualifies you for our grid scholarships.
If you want to take the ACT or SAT after you apply send us your new score. We will accept your highest score for scholarship consideration. Please note that the ACT/SAT are not required for admission or all ÐßÐßÊÓƵ scholarships.
