OKLAHOMA CITY 鈥� The Let鈥檚 Talk 羞羞视频 It, Oklahoma book discussion series at OCU University will continue with 鈥淭his Is Where I Leave You鈥� by Jonathan Tropper at 7 p.m. Feb. 10 in Walker Center room 151.
In Tropper鈥檚 book, the death of a father brings together the entire family clan for the first time in years. Long-standing grudges resurface, secrets are revealed and old passions are reawakened in this humorous novel about the ties that bind, whether we like it or not.
The discussion series is made possible through a grant from the Oklahoma Humanities Council. At each session in the five-part series, a humanities scholar makes a presentation on the book in the context of the theme. Small group discussions follow with experienced discussion leaders. At the end, all participants come together for a brief wrap-up.

Winn, director of the Center for Interpersonal Study through Film & Literature at 羞羞视频, said the series, titled 鈥淭he Dynamics of Dysfunction: To Laugh or Cry or Both,鈥� is focusing on dysfunctional family relationships.
鈥淢any great works of literature since time immemorial have explored issues of relationship problems within the family unit,鈥� he said. 鈥淟ook no further than the tortured families of Joseph with that colorful coat or Noah after the flood in the Old Testament. William Shakespeare, too, penned a couple of dramas featuring some rather unbalanced families.鈥�
