Dr. Jabir Rahman is an Assistant Professor of Data Analytics at the Meinders School of Business, OCU University. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Information and Technology from The Fogelman College of Business and Economics at The University of Memphis, where his research focused on human AI interaction and AI aversion. During his Ph.D. studies at the University of Memphis, Dr. Rahman had the privilege of working under the supervision of Dr. Huigang Liang, a well-known and respected researcher in the field of Information Systems. Dr. Liang's expertise and guidance played a significant role in shaping Dr. Rahman's research interests and approach, and his mentorship was an asset in Dr. Rahman's academic journey.
Dr. Rahman's expertise in data-driven decision making has earned him recognition in the field of data analytics, with his research making significant contributions and being published or presented to top Information Systems (IS) journals and conferences and winning the best paper award in prestigious IS conferences.
