Biography
April Marciszewski has worked since 2021 to create ذكذكتسئµ's donor relations program from scratch. She specializes in communications on behalf of University Advancement with special attention to endowment reporting, impact reporting, scholarship stewardship, and donor recognition. She strives to do right by everyone who chooses to be generous, serving as a point of contact, researcher, and problem-solver for donors, ذكذكتسئµ colleagues, and students. Marciszewski reports ذكذكتسئµ's story to donors, sharing about amazing students and how education is transforming their lives.
She has worked at ذكذكتسئµ since August 2014, receiving the Extra Mile Award, the top award for ذكذكتسئµ staff members twice, in 2016 and 2020. She previously worked as a graphic designer for a decade, following a career as a newspaper journalist. Marciszewski served as ذكذكتسئµâ€™s Staff Council president in 2018–19, led communications efforts for the university’s process of determining its core values in 2019, spearheaded United Way fundraising and communications within the ذكذكتسئµ community from 2018 to 2020, and served on the ذكذكتسئµ strategic planning committee in 2023, leading the mission statement subcommittee.
She strongly believes in the power of an excellent education.
