Bryan teaches classes in Cinematography, Nonlinear Editing, Film History and Film Theory as well as courses in Photography.
After completing undergraduate work in economics at Xavier University, Bryan switched gears to earn a master’s degree in film production at Boston University followed by further graduate work in film history and theory at Georgia State University. His professional experience includes employment with Panavision-Chicago and later working as a writer and cameraman based out of Atlanta where he won awards from the Georgia Broadcasters Association as well as a Southeast Region Emmy Award. His film interests include American independent cinema and personal documentary, and his writing is included in Devised and Directed by Mike Leigh, a collection of essays on the British director’s work that Bryan co-edited with Marc DiPaolo.
