Award winning poet and playwright Merle Feld will discuss prayer and peace at OCU University’s 2018 Neustadt Lectures.
Feld is the founding director of the Albin Rabbinic Writing Institute where she guides rabbinical students and rabbis from all denominations in developing and exploring their own spiritual lives and prepares them to serve as effective spiritual leaders.
Feld is the author of “Finding Words,” published in 2011, and “Spiritual Life: Exploring the Heart of Jewish Tradition,” published in 2007. She has written several plays including “The Gates are Closing.”
As a peace activist and scholar-in-residence, Feld has facilitated Israeli-Palestinian dialogue in the West Bank, supported Jewish women activists in the former Soviet Union and taken her work to hundreds of synagogues and universities around the world.
