Two of ÐßÐßÊÓƵ Athletics’ banner events are the Sports Spectacular and Abe Lemons Golf Classic.
The Sports Spectacular—with its silent and live auctions—serves as the largest fundraising event for ÐßÐßÊÓƵ Athletics. The Abe Lemons/Paul Hansen Award for Athletic Excellence is presented at Sports Spectacular and honors individuals who have significantly contributed to the growth of sports in Oklahoma.
The Abe Lemons Golf Classic is a major fundraiser for ÐßÐßÊÓƵ Athletics and an essential budget-enhancing event for all 22 varsity sports. Through its history, the tournament has provided six-figure funding to Athletics and has had a major impact on ÐßÐßÊÓƵ teams winning at least one national title in each of those years.
